Is Karma for real?

Have you heard of Karma? What exactly does it mean and how exactly does it affected you?

Dictionary meaning of this word is:

The sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.

In Sanskrit β€˜Karma’ simply means your Action, Work or Deed.

You might have also heard:

  • You reap what you sow
  • Treat others like you want to be treated.
  • What goes around comes around.

All this basically means the same thing, like my mom would say β€œjaisi karni waisi bharni” in English it means β€œwhatever you do is what you get in return”.

It’s very recently that i learnt, understood and acknowledged the true meaning of Karma and it’s existence.

And to be honest I believe in it!

Why?

Because I have experienced it first hand.

When we say or do anything intentionally or unintentionally it has its affect. Affect on people, on surroundings, on relationships , on environment, it can be anything really.

So the point to notice is….if something is so powerful that it can affect so many things in so many ways then why not use it positively and spread positivity around… Don’t you think so?

Have you seen a child laughing for no reason? Does it make you smile automatically? Now, just try to remember the last time you saw someone smile without any reason?? No? Do you smile sometimes without any reason?

I know, we don’t usually do that, because we are “grown ups”.

Have you ever thought, that you greeting someone with a smiling face can make their day? Imagine if you had a very bad day at work and you come back home to a smiling and loving Pet or husband or parents, wouldn’t that make you feel better? Wouldn’t you instantly feel the positive energy!

You may ask how this is related to Karma..

Well, i believe it is. If you give someone positive vibe or just smile and spread positivity, that’s what you are going to get in return.

It really doesn’t take too much to be nice to other people… does it? then why not? who knows your one smile or a positive greet or a warm hug can change someone’s day for better! πŸ™‚

β€œHow people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.”

– Wayne Dyer

I remember one day I was very upset and it was in my office. I had a crazy day and felt like nothing is going to be right again. I went to the washroom to cry, to let out all that i was feeling. There was one kind lady who was cleaning the washroom floor, I think she realized that i was crying inside. When i came out, she looked at me and said “Hello Mam! hope you are doing alright! have a good day ahead!” I don’t know what it was, but suddenly I felt alright! I felt like someone cared enough to notice! She really turned my mood around and that’s when i realized, how these small things can make a difference.

I have seen people being upfront rude. A common example would be with their house help or a waiter in a restaurant. My theory about these people is that they think that they are at a superior position and at authority to be rude and say or do anything.

This makes me angry and more than angry upset. I just wonder, don’t they have fear that someone can do the same to them? They can also be treated like this! Because you know, Karma is a bitch!

So all I want to say is, let’s spread positivity guys.

Specially during this time, when we need it the most!! I have seen people loosing their jobs, getting depressed, dealing with no or low ration. It is BAD!! and if we can do our bit, even if you think it wouldn’t matter. I know a lot of people may say, what difference would it make?

Trust me my friend, it does!

If nothing, just be nice to people. you don’t know where they are coming from, so the least we can do is be nice and courteous.

Remember you will get what you give!

If you spread happiness and joy, you will get the same thing in return from the universe. πŸ™‚

Peace out ✌🏼

true, If you give someone positive vibe or just smile and spread positivity, that’s what you are going to get in return…. we do work and believe that, sometimes it might be so tensed situations yet the mood must not spoil things.

What goes around, comes around. Came across a really amazing quote by Swami Vivekananda:
β€œJust as in the case of electricity, the modern theory is that the power leaves the dynamo and completes the circle back to the dynamo, so with hate and love; they must come back to the source. Therefore do not hate anybody, because that hatred which comes out from you, must, in the long run, come back to you. If you love, that love will come back to you, completing the circle.”
― Swami Vivekananda, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

This holds true today and it would hold true even in future!

    Yes, Karma is for realπŸ˜€.
Whatever we give out completes a circle and comes back to us. Yes, the way in which karma works may be too complex for us to understand, but it does work. And it is the most important reason to spread positivity and love even when we are facing negative emotions.
Very good to share these things! Rarely see someone talk interesting topics these days!
